The world is cluttered with choices for decorative objects that have no real purpose, other than to look pretty on a book shelf.   So it’s nice to find something that is truly interesting to look at with a bit of a story behind it.   Mexican designer Moises Hernandez has come up with the perfect “objet d’art” for people looking to fill space in their bookshelves or office desk.

Hernandez has created 3 separate tropical bird shapes that are finely milled then hand dipped in various hues of watercolor allowing colors to be layered at various intersections creating a truly unique look.   Each bird is 100% unique due to the hand dipping process.
